ArtistA mosaic made entirely of small pieces of stone, in the style of Egon Schiele, Gustav Klimt, in brilliant high-contrast glassy colors, of an accurate and realistic male Blue Eared-Pheasant (Crossoptilon auritum), fully fitting inside the image (including tail), on a completely snow-covered ground with only a few tan stalks of dead weeds, and the foot prints of the pheasant on the snow behind it to show where it walked. The blue eared pheasant has dark blue-grey plumage with velvet black top of head, deep red facial wattles of bare skin surrounding the eyes, yellow iris, erect long white ear coverts from below to behind the eyes, a pale pink bill, and orange legs with spurs. Its upper tail feathers are elongated thin bluish-grey feathers that are curved, loose, and dark. The lower tail feathers are slightly shorter with a white base and dark blue-gray ends.
