The sun was setting over the park as a young boy sat on a bench with his friend, his heart heavy with sadness. He couldn't take his eyes off his girlfriend as she laughed and talked with another guy across the field.
The boy's friend tried to console him, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry, man," he said, "I know how much she meant to you."
The boy didn't respond, just continued to watch his girlfriend. He remembered all the good times they had shared, the moments of joy and laughter that now seemed like distant memories.
As the conversation between his girlfriend and the other guy continued, the boy felt his heart breaking. He had tried so hard to make her happy, but it seemed like it wasn't enough. He felt helpless and alone, unable to do anything to change the situation.
