MOONRISE TREE : POEM WITH IMAGE

The Moonrise Tree holds within it every Moon
that the Tree ever beheld in the skies surrounding it.

When I was a child, I always marveled at daylight's wonders,
like how tree-leaves flashed the light of the sun when wind-tossed,
their pale undersides sparkling in randomized glory.

Every Spring and Summer, I still look for leaves flashing
when days are bright and clear.

The Moonrise Tree is an approximate opposite
to those real trees ; here is an unreal tree
with leaves that sparkle in moonlight,
against the dark but starry skies of night.

The tree, though lovely, has a flaw, i.e., it is POI - Partly Outside Image, so I can't see putting it up for sale. However, this Image made a great prompt for my own writing above, so I can't fault it too much. Besides, the Image and poem complement each other.
