Golden River Mallards

More about Golden River Mallards

An oil painting of five mallard ducks swimming in a narrow, calm river with reedy banks. The sun casts a golden glow on the water and reflects off the surface, creating bright yellow and orange highlights amidst dark shadows. Four ducks are in the water, heading right, while one duck is resting on the grassy riverbank in the lower-left corner.

Note: I can't look at a picture like this without the old record by the Incredible String Band who used to do a song entitled Ducks on the Pond. You will find it at https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=incredible+string+band+ducks+on+a+pond . It is a song of unrivaled triviality but which can lodge in your head for years. I've had it for some fifty years now.
