Losing love is like a window in your heart,
Everyone sees you're torn apart,
The breeze that once was warm and soft,
Now carries whispers, lost and oft.
Through the pane, the world goes on,
But inside, the light of love is gone,
Shadows dance in spaces left,
Memories, of warmth, bereft.
Yet, through this window, light will shine,
Bringing hope, a sign divine,
For even as the glass may crack,
New love will mend what once did lack.
In time, this window frames anew,
A landscape blessed with morning dew,
Where love, once lost, has found its way,
Through the heart's window, here to stay.
