More about Paths Yet Know: Worlds Yet Grown

As the word hangs in the balance thoughts crumble into grains of sand.
Actions find their home, light is what is at hand. I walk towards this light.

I don't know what holds in store for me. I do know I am on a path made by me.
Actions fed to the sea that storms, I command a small boat away from shores.

Would I see this land again? Would I begin to navigate the oceans blue?
Cresting waves deep troughs, the storms will come. At times ship tossed.

Shadows dance upon the deck, the captain above commanding a wright.
We must avoid the wreck, although we never command mother nature.

We are partners in the world, we must all do our part, with fervor, with love.
When possible we must take the moments that build our good life, a respite.

Through it all this is what you take with you. The quite moments of contemplation.
The expressions of caring, the honest appraisals that become hard fought truth.

So I tip my hat, and raise my glass. The unknown I embrace, along with my new home.

It maybe the road, it maybe a far off land. It may lead a place the future has yet to create.

Forever, Ever, and Evermore,
Aaron Baker
