A wonderful contradiction, a perfect flaw. A reason without rational. A cold that thawed.

I am beguiled by my work, I feel the world yet do not carry its weight. I know I have eclipsed my younger expectations of joy that would come my way.

I found something made for me on this earthly realm. I set myself to become what I was always meant to.

In a world of riches I know what wealth really is, and friends it isn't a pile of coins to tend to.

For we all live one life and no more as you were, you have one pass on the marry-go-around so make it yours.

1 knows many things I do not. What I know is our mind is a playground, 1 may fill it with love. 1 may fill it with fear, and counting the rot.

What I know Is some plants grow in darkness while they feed on the light. This doesn't make them wicked, evil, nor malign.

This makes them resilient, yet perfect for few. The truth of love is the strongest bonds are built on balance, where the darkness meets the light. To know our rain, our sun.

I no longer struggle with what I see. I don't rush nor will I loose my way. I understand that I both don't know where my next step leads me. I also know I wouldn't hesitate to take it.

Her presence felt within my soul, yet fate still leads to parts unknown. This dichotomy has never felt more like home.

I am both the Archer and the prey. This game the greatest I have ever known. Black, or white, lines are made to cross. Days have long lost their tones of greige.

This lifetime I was lucky enough to understand the darkness, and why there is no fear in it. In this shadow I finally understand the power of light.

Whom I was meant to share my journey with was like discovering myself. I finally see why I was put in this world. To share steps, to walk home, my eternal counterpoint.
