A few small changes to the Specification :
FBI : The Extract operators are now Buffer => Var, Buffer =>> Var, or equivalently Var <= Buffer, Var <<= Buffer.
This is for symmetry reasons, and to warn coders that the Extract operator modifies BOTH operands.
This frees up the > and >> operators for use as alternative Insert operators :
Data > Buffer, Data >> Buffer
A new $F opcode, namely $F5, now indicates a Binary (non-BCD) Segment. This allows embedded 80x86 code within docs, and bitmap or .MP3 resources, without needing to use Exofiles.
Changes will be made to the appropriate Source Code Description fields "as I get round to it".
Source Code of the Kernel will now be updated chiefly by Email rather than by DDG Descriptions, due to unwieldicity (lol).
The 6502 Assembler versions (Apple ][, Atari 800 XL) are no longer supported (lol).
ALWAYS FILL YOUR DAY WITH WONDERFUL THINGS :)
(Felix hates this tagline, for some reason! Maybe he's not Aspie enough, or Enby enough, or maybe he ought to "get a plushie". Lol :)
OH, BY THE WAY, for those who bother to read this blog, I had my Cataract Laser Treatment last week (amusingly enough at Enderby, which sounds like a mixture of Ytterby and Enby), and so far the millions of black specks in front of my eye seem to have gone away (Yay!). I'm scheduled for an op in my other eye in a few months, to replace the natural lens with a Perspex one, before that eye gets too foggy. Such events do happen as one gets older (I'm 70 believe it or not). Oh, and don't put your email address in a reply to this description -- instead, if you want ::SHE+ILA:: source updates, email me at
