I pause, I take my steps slowly. She falls back and says slow down, we take our time. Now that I know this touch a calm drawn in breath, each rhythm, reveals another rhyme.

You also have a strange way about you my dear. There may be a tempest a brew, while a storm tossed sea casts its eye surrounding us, I feel a threshold crossing growing near.

Winters chill bathed light growing from us, our affection. In my pause I see a slow dance for us. Taking time seeing no gain in some haphazard rush.

I know the fear I will not keep a deep ocean of promises I make. No I cannot settle this debt in one night, I am not here for a table tipping earthquake. It will take a lifetime to truly show you of what I am made.

Steps in this dance we begin a steady pace, not in haste, born through honesty, our place. I will not destroy what has been made. I will not run from difficulties that are thrown in our way. I will not sorrow at others opinions.

You're the way I have choose, no one, nor group could tare me from the chemistry of this touch. I am wild, I am free, I know I cannot sacrifice the parts that you love just in some effort to build a future me.

I get a head of myself, I know that this could be folly. So I pause, look toward my love, and realize my way I make with her. My self righteous ego fading in the light of her. Nothing more to prove unless it is in a path made with you.

It is our way above others, it is a place unlike any others. Indeed the other girls don't touch me like you do.

I will not toss this love away, even when the white caps are beating our vessel a fray. You in many ways have been a guiding light in my life, I never wish to bring you a sorrow with inviting in to our dance any plight.

So this slow dance for you and I my dear Wendy. I know you have sacrificed many things just to consider you and I. No foolish gambit, I will fulfill my promises, even those Marianas deep. I will commit to keeping them, not even an army could stop this resolve.

So don't pray for us, no need to save us, we have found each other, and this feels is as if a cage were dissolved. We don't care about your ire, nor do we care for your pity. For we know in this way many will project their pain, and short comings on to our love's piety.

When you have a pair this strong others will feel a need to save us from ourselves. They sugar coat their rancid judgments on which they project on to us, in which they hide behind a thin disguise, wishing not to reveal where they truly dwell.

So this slow dance is for you and I. We take our steps in deliberation, no need to preach, only embody an example in how we live, the true blue.
