"My work is an exploration of the symbiotic relationship between urban landscapes and the natural world. I find inspiration in the rhythm and texture of cityscapes—cracked sidewalks, weathered walls, and neon reflections—and how they contrast yet coexist with organic patterns found in nature, like flowing rivers or tree canopies. This fusion of opposites fuels my creative process, allowing me to translate complex environments into harmonious visual narratives.
Each piece begins with moments of quiet observation, often captured through photography or sketching. I then layer these initial impressions with bold textures, unconventional color palettes, and mixed media techniques, creating compositions that feel both familiar and otherworldly. By incorporating materials like reclaimed wood, industrial metals, or organic fibers, I aim to physically embody the dialogue between human constructs and nature’s resilience.
At its heart, my work reflects my own journey of discovering balance in an increasingly chaotic world. Through my art, I invite viewers to pause and consider the intersections of their own lives—where the industrial meets the organic, where the chaotic meets the serene. I hope to inspire a deeper connection to both our built environments and the natural world, encouraging contemplation and dialogue about the ways we shape, and are shaped by, the spaces around us."
