And the Maker above turned skies into dark
The voice of wisdom shook Eternity’s stars
And shattered the light of the garden
Cast out into darkness, no way to get home
We all turned our back on Eternity’s glow
The lies and deception spin tales in the cold
The serpent’s coil round us has taken its toll
But once one tastes lies then one hungers for more
And chained by desires one searches alone
