Med et hvin kørte vognen ned ad den stejle bakke og ind i det første loop. Musene skreg af glæde, da de blev presset tilbage i sæderne. De hvirvlede rundt og rundt, og for et øjeblik føltes det som om de svævede i luften. Men pludselig stoppede vognen midt i loopet. Musene kiggede forvirret på hinanden. Hvad skete der? De hørte en raslen og et bump fra bagenden af rutsjebanen. De bagerste vogne var faldet ned! Musene i forreste vogn var fanget. De sad fast i luften, højt over jorden. Hvad skulle de gøre? En af musene, en modig lille mus ved navn Pip, tog kommandoen. Han fik de andre mus til at skubbe sammen på sæderne. Med et kraftfuldt skub satte de vognen i gang igen. Vognen kørte hurtigt ned ad loopet og landede med et bump på jorden. Musene var rystet, men de var i live. De hoppede ud af vognen og løb hen til de andre mus, der var faldet ned. Heldigvis var ingen kommet til skade. Musene var taknemmelige for, at de var sluppet helskindet fra den farlige oplevelse. De havde lært en vigtig lektie: Selv i en sjov forlystelse som en rutsjebane kan der ske uventede ting. Men med mod og samarbejde kan man overvinde alle udfordringer.
