Prompt: Minrhet the Scorching Sun is a sun deity in the Aldhaven campaign setting. Minrhet is one of the two patron deities of the Church of Light. Minrhet burns with the sun's fire. His greatest desire is to purge the world of Darkness. He is the cynic, the doer, and the executioner. Minrhet teaches his followers the value of strength, endurance, and the mercy of a swift death. His followers live in peace and harmony, fighting the Darkness within. They take arms to destroy the places in which Darkness may hide. Minrhet brings forth the consuming fires of Purification to destroy Darkness. Minrhet abhors war. He believes that the conflict between Light and Darkness must be fought on a personal level, purged from within through enlightenment and spiritual struggle. Conflict between Light and Darkness should be settled between personal champions, not armies. Minrhet's holy symbol is a sunburst of brass and crimson with a burning eye of judgement in the center. His favored weapon is a burning halbard of solar flame.
