I draw more easily when I have negative emotions. According to Google, the basic emotions are: Love, Joy, amazement, Sadness, Fear, Disgust, Anger and Shame & Guilt. When I look at this, love and joy and perhaps amazement are above the line. Perhaps it is that negative emotions have a greater need to get out.
