  • Prompt: with a little help of Hannah Hoch A Dadaist collage, constructed from two distinct photographs. The base layer is a monochromatic image of a tightly-knit group of stone-like figures, their faces blank and uniforms constricting, enclosed within a rough-hewn stone block. Superimposed onto this base is an oversized, stylized black-and-white portrait of a woman's face, tilted upwards. She wears theatrical makeup: thin arched eyebrows, exaggerated eyelashes, and prominent transparent droplets resembling tears adhered to her face. The scale of her face is disproportionate to the figures below. The arrangement evokes dissonance and questions traditional values. Juxtapose rigid, earth-toned figures with the fragile beauty of the woman's portrait. High contrast, unsettling, surreal.
