Red gourds

• Model: Nano Banana 2 (Pro)

• Size: 2219 X 1664 (3.69 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: A fine art textured close-up, high-angle view features a vibrant collection of gourds, creating a rich tapestry of autumn colours and textures. The composition is filled with these autumnal fruits, with no background visible beyond the produce itself. The dominant colours are deep reds and oranges, with subtle variations and gradients within each item. The lighting is natural and direct, highlighting the textures and creating some slight glistening on the surfaces, possibly from moisture or natural sheen. This direct light also casts some soft shadows, giving depth to the arrangement. In the upper left, a large, deeply textured orange gourd with subtle greenish-brown mottling fills a significant portion of the frame. Its skin shows natural imperfections and variations in colour. To its right, another large orange gourd takes up the upper right quadrant, displaying prominent vertical ridges and a smoother, more uniformly orange hue, though still speckled with darker points. A small, light-coloured stem is visible at the top of this gourd. The foreground is dominated by smaller, rounder gourds, primarily in shades of rich red and reddish-orange. The most prominent gourd is located centrally, a vibrant red with areas of deeper orange and brown spotting, and a small, rough, light-brown stem pointing upwards. Its surface has a slightly bumpy texture, with small white specks visible, possibly water droplets or natural markings. Below and to the left of this central gourd, several other red and reddish-orange gourds are nestled together, some showing similar textures and colouring. One gourd in the lower left corner appears a bit lighter, with more orange tones mixed into its red. The overall mood is one of abundance, harvest, and the cozy, rich feeling of autumn. The natural imperfections and varied textures of the gourds add to an authentic, rustic atmosphere. There is no visible text. The notable objects are the various gourds themselves, showcasing a diverse range of shapes, sizes, and colours within the same family of produce.

eat your veggies - delicata squash (truly delicate!)

• Model:

• Size: 5912 X 3376 (19.96 MP)

• Used settings:

  • Prompt: Full-screen, frontlit, sharp-focus, macro-view, close-up watercolor of several delicata squash, lying on a rough, grass-green linen tablecloth. The longish squash are pale yellow with greenish and brownish stripes. One squash is cut in half lengthwise to reveal the light-orange fruit pulp and the light-beige pumpkin seeds. Behind the squash, we see a wooden cutting board with flat-leaf parsley and a small, ordinary kitchen knife, and behind the cutting board, we can make out a rectangular pyrex baking dish with generous pats of butter. The culinary still life is sunlit from the front and stands in front of dark green wood paneling. The background is rendered in splotchy, wet-on-wet watercolor and is painted all the way to the edges of the paper whereas the squash, the parsley and the cutting board are lovingly, deftly and painstakingly rendered in diaphanous watercolor with exquisite detail, with some outline details highlighted in pen-and-ink. Above all the delicata squash are painted with great attention to detail, like a biology illustration. Prize-winning biology illustration in a style reminiscent of Simonetta Occhipinti, Pierre-Joseph Redouté, Jakob Demus, Hildegard Könighofer and Margareta Pertl as well as Siobhan Larkin. Museum-quality aquarelle sketch on heavy handmade rag paper.
