  • Prompt: A humanoid figure with a stylised, crystalline body that is fractured, partially transparent and refracts light, settles comfortably in a fantasised, dreamlike landscape with semblances of being within a kaleidoscope of shattered sights. The surroundings consist of a surreal collage mimicking patterns found in dreams: broken mirrors which reflect multiple, deformed selves; timepieces with liquefying faces, their numerals and pointers twisted, appearing as if melted; and vague humanoid silhouettes lurking at the outer edges, their existence felt but not visible. The ambience resonates an uncanny tranquility, as though reality has been split open, showcasing the ragged, fractured characteristics of memory and perception post trauma. Drawing from the influences of surrealists respected widely before and during the 19th century, this chilling view encourages observers to think about the elaborate, sometimes painful, healing process, where light and strength can shine through cracks.
