Her face is animated and smiling, with bright eyes looking towards the scientist as she speaks enthusiastically. Various monitoring devices and experimental apparatus surround her. Opposite the subject, a clean-shaven 38-year-old man in a laboratory coat, with long dark hair in a simple ponytail, sits on a threadbare brown sofa, wearing a plain black t-shirt and snug black jeans beneath the coat. The man holds a single ceramic coffee mug with both hands, engaged in conversation, with a second mug placed on a scratched wooden table beside research notes. The colored pencil medium emphasizes the textures of metal, fabric, brick, and skin through layered strokes.
