  • Prompt: Masterpiece, a graphic painting in black and white tones: an ordinary city street during rush hour. People hurry about their business, but instead of rain, sharp silhouettes of missiles fall vertically from the sky. The passers-by are depicted in white, almost transparent tones. They hold umbrellas, but these are not made of fabric; they are crafted from thin glass that is already beginning to crack. Someone is looking at a phone, someone is leading a child by the hand, someone is carrying a coffee. Their faces are devoid of clear features — they represent a "collective citizen" trying to ignore a catastrophe that has become commonplace. The shadows cast by the people on the asphalt are long and sharp; they resemble blades cutting through the pavement. The missiles fall to the ground in such vast numbers that they resemble rain. Some missiles have already touched the earth, but instead of exploding, they pierce the asphalt like darts in a target, leaving a halo of cracks around them that look like tree roots. In the sky, they form vertical stripes that almost completely block out the sunlight. The combination of the "soft" silhouettes of people with the "hard" geometry of the missiles creates a visual conflict, evoking a sense of profound discomfort in the viewer. The artist uses thin but confident lines reminiscent of an engraving or modern street art (in the spirit of Banksy). The juxtaposition of a mundane, everyday scene with an apocalyptic phenomenon.
