  • Prompt: A young Japanese American woman sits at a grand piano in a room that appears sparse and stately. An elderly bald man who wears a similar colored gray suit, blue shirt, and tie stands next to the piano. There are windows all around the room and we see blurry red brick buildings through sunlight that streams in and highlights gold accents on the piano harp and exquisite throw rug that fills the floor. He shares a memory about an old war and both of them being captured together. She intently holds a major chord down silently in root position with both hands.
