  • Prompt: The painting is a masterpiece created with oil paints, where every brushstroke is visible. On Easter morning, as the light gently filters through the windows, a special atmosphere envelops a Ukrainian family. The family has gathered around a festive table, covered with an exquisite tablecloth that seems to try to shield them from all the grief and anxieties brought by war. Parents and children sit at the table — their faces glowing with hope and love, despite all the hardships. In the center of the table stands a large, beautifully decorated Easter bread — a symbol of rebirth and life, enticing with the aroma of freshly baked bread. Nearby are beautiful Easter eggs — they are colorful and lovingly painted, reminding everyone of family traditions and that life continues, even in the most difficult circumstances. The children, with eagerness in their eyes, gently pick up the eggs, wondering which one they will find first. But suddenly, a deafening explosion rings out from outside — a blast that shatters the silence of the Easter morning. The shockwave rattles the windows, and hearts fill with fear. Yet the parents quickly turn to their children, trying to reassure them, smiling even though something inside is breaking. They choose to focus on what is important — on their family bond, on supporting one another in this moment. The father hugs the little ones, while the mother places her hand on her heart, where hope beats rhythmically. "We celebrate so that the faith in victory never fades," she says, while the children, with smiles, try to leave their fears behind. They take each other's hands and together close their eyes, reciting a prayer — for peace, for family, for the invisible threat not to break their spirit.
