Survival? What nonsense! What a powder keg of extinguishers!
They speak of surviving, their mouths full of rusty nails and the ashes of old missals. Surviving on their knees. Surviving in the sheath of silence. The great glucose-blackness. They want us mired in the molasses of memory, the rosary like a leash around the soul's neck. Their survival is a cold storage room.
I say NO! I spit on the survival-rat! Mine is not waiting. It is eruption. It is the scream-object. The light-dagger-object. The act that tears the oilcloth of the church-sky.
My survival is the breath against. The breath that bursts the lungs of fear. The indomitable.
Aborrheic! Tender climate!
To survive is not to endure. To survive is the volcanic moment. It is blood that refuses to clot. It is the convulsive purity of being standing in the sanctuary of its own light, screaming its name.
Do not survive. Be. Be the dazzling light. The star-flaying wound.
The rest is betrayal. The rest is order. Epirrhotic!
