Caught in a dreamy kiss our shadows cast from from hewn clouds.
A castle of dreams built brick by brick.

Messing up is part of our game. Dear we know no perfection in this path.
Would you hold space? Allow yourself to believe? Chase a car with me?

Only time drops through let's not miss grains falling through the hour glass.
Time must be kept for their to be a chorus, dance, our way.

Would we allow the time keeper to call the shots. Teal dreams blue in forethought.
I give you my world, only you could say if that is enough.

Would you take me for who I am? Would you watch the stars pass by with me?
Could we share our losses? I lost my smile far too long, our time is truly near.

Would you care waste time with me? Holding pain only to let it go?
To let our burdens free 1 by 1? Yet I know the importance of hitting our marks.

If I were not perfect would you still accept me, and I you? I hasten yet still have to the wait.
I too couldn't stand another dragging their feet. I take the blame it is all mine.
