Success caps then turns to glue,
Stuck where we stand.

They tell me to think twice.

Celebrated, crashed, invited,
I was never here for them.
Crumpled up paper's lost stipulations.
Honesty grifts,
Lies dressed as the truth.
Knowing doesn't mean that's what we cling to.
Message in a storm tossed bottle.
They wish today would just forget tomorrow.
Today could never just forget tomorrow.

A blue ribbon winner
Evermore High best in show,
Industry loves when cool meets pretty.

Plans turn to sand,
Grasping at what falls through.
Special, narcissistic, too much, or lied to.
