The Day Star
The day star rises in the east,
A shining orb, a glowing beast,
Its golden rays spread warmth and light,
And banish the darkness of the night.
The day star reigns supreme above,
A symbol of life, hope, and love,
It gives the world its daily dose,
Of energy, power, and repose.
The day star casts a brilliant glow,
As it makes its way across the sky's tableau,
It lights the way for all below,
And helps the earth's creations grow.
So when the day star sets in the west,
And bids farewell to its daily quest,
We know it will return with zest,
The day star, forever blessed.
