Politicians are the parasite class. Inspired by reading a news story about Texas senators wanting to make the Mountain Laurel and Morning Glories a controlled substance. These people are greedy and stupid, making any trees or plants illegal is absolutely brainless. Of course they're also trying to ban all consumable forms of Hemp. Prohibition has never, ever worked in an open and free society and only serves to encourage organized crime and political corruption.
