Murple was just a normal butterfly butterfly. But murple was unlike other butterflies and wanted to join the stars. So murple entered a spaceship and flew onto the moon. Beautiful purple lilacs grew wherever he landed. The purple flowers created a slight amount of oxygen. So by 3020 the moon will have fully oxygenated and will be covered in life.
