Andrew Wyeth's most famous art was Christina's World; a kitschy American Pastoral scene. Christina Olson was Andrew Wyeth's paralyzed neighbor who refused a wheelchair, handicapped from the waist down; she often moved across her family property by crawling. Wyeth never showed Christina's face, which I felt resulted in a loss of intrigue, emotion and empathy; so I changed that.
