In the depths of the tomb, a mummy arose
With eyes glowing bright, a fearsome sight it posed
But the laugh it let out was not of terror or woe
It held flowers instead, a curious tableau
What secrets did it keep, this ancient being so strange
What stories of the past did it hold in its range
The flowers it grasped, were they for love or for peace
Perhaps a message from beyond, a quest to release
So let us not fear this mummy with glowing eyes
But wonder at the mystery it doth disguise
For in its bony hands, a bouquet of beauty lies
A reminder that even in death, life still implies.
