In Joshua Chapter 20, we see,
God's mercy and grace, for all to decree,
Cities of refuge, appointed by God,
For those who seek shelter, on this earthly sod.
A place to flee, for those who've shed blood,
A haven of safety, where they withstood,
God's law of justice, with grace so divine,
Providing refuge, in His design.
For those who accidentally caused harm,
A city of refuge, brought them calm,
A place to stay, until the case is heard,
With fair judgment, by God's holy Word.
In Joshua Chapter 20, we learn,
Of God's compassion, at every turn,
His provision, for those in need,
A place of refuge, in times of deed.
So let us trust, in God's sheltering grace,
In times of trouble, seek His face,
For He is our refuge, forevermore,
A place of safety, our eternal shore.
