ArtistCreate a 4:3 realistic painterly fantasy storybook illustration for The Morks of Mistmoor – Chapter 36, Part 3: The Journey That Remembered. REFERENCE IMAGES — use exactly these two references: 1. The accepted Chapter 35 Part 3 image — preserve the established underground circular plaza, seven monumental stone arches, First Door, ancient symbols and silver floor lines. 2. CR-M1 – Morksik — preserve Morksik’s exact established appearance. Scene: back inside the vast ancient circular plaza beneath Mistmoor. Morksik stands in the foreground holding the now COMPLETE silver eye-shaped key in his open hand. A very fine silver seam remains visible across the narrow third piece. The massive FIRST DOOR remains completely CLOSED in its central stone arch with its established eye-shaped socket. IMPORTANT: a DIFFERENT arch beside the First Door has activated. This second arch is filled with brilliant cold silver light and acts as a magical opening into another journey. Inside the glowing second arch stands the mysterious traveller from the previous scene: a humanoid traveller wearing a grey travelling cloak. The hood is now lowered. The traveller is NOT Morksik and must not resemble Morksik. Around the traveller’s neck hangs a COMPLETE silver eye-shaped key. Behind the traveller stands a YOUNG HUMAN WOMAN representing the Keeper many years earlier. She has a serious, watchful expression, practical old-fashioned travelling clothes in muted earthy tones, and no magical or royal appearance. She clearly holds a distinctive BLACK KEY in one hand. The young woman and the cloaked traveller stand together on the OTHER SIDE of the magical arch. They must not appear physically inside Morksik’s plaza. Morksik looks directly toward them in surprise. Keep the scene focused. Only THREE visible figures: Morksik, the mysterious traveller and the younger Keeper. No Hopsy, Borstel, Eldren, Grimmeldorn or additional characters. No duplicates. The closed First Door must remain clearly visible beside the glowing second arch, making it obvious that the First Door did NOT open again. Ancient circular and eye-shaped carvings cover the enormous stone walls. Thin silver lines cross the floor and glow strongly toward the activated second arch. Cold silver magical light illuminates Morksik and the surrounding stone. Strong sense of scale, atmospheric underground haze, detailed weathered textures, cinematic composition, soft volumetric lighting, realistic painterly fantasy storybook style consistent with the established series. Mysterious adventure atmosphere, not horror. No written text, captions, labels or readable signs anywhere. Add only the established small white unicorn emblem with “AI by Unicorngraphics” discreetly in the bottom-right corner.

Chapter 36 The Door That Opened from the Other Side Part 3 The Journey That Remembered
The knocking came again. Three slow blows from the front door. Morksik closed his hand around the complete silver eye. “Nobody answer,” Borstel whispered. “For once I have an excellent plan.” Below them, the handle turned. Hopsy raised her lantern. Archivara’s page still showed UNCHOSEN JOURNEY — NOTICED. A second line appeared: CORRECTION — BEGINNING. The Keeper went pale. “We have to leave.” “Through the arch?” asked Morksik. “If it still exists.” A floorboard creaked downstairs. Then another. Someone had entered the house. Grimmeldorn listened. “Many.” Borstel looked toward the stairs. “I preferred them outside.” Eldren opened his map. The route back had faded to a thin silver line. “The arch is disappearing.” They hurried downstairs. The seven wooden cups and coats were gone. The fire had died, and dust covered the furniture. “It is changing,” Eldren said. “No,” said the Keeper. “It is deciding what it was.” The front door stood open. Beyond it, the square was empty. “Where did the villagers go?” Hopsy asked. Grimmeldorn pointed behind them. Seven figures stood at the far end of the room. Their clothes belonged to different ages of Mistmoor. Their faces were blurred. Archivara wrote: UNCHOSEN RESIDENTS — FORMING. “Out,” said Morksik. They ran into the square. The stone arch was barely visible near the village edge. The bell rang. Every door in the square opened. “That cannot be good,” Borstel said. People stepped out, filling streets that had been empty moments before. They did not attack. They simply watched. Morksik raised the complete eye. A path opened through them. Archivara wrote: KEY — BELONGS HERE. Morksik stared at the words. “No. It belongs with us.” KEY — COMPLETE IN THIS JOURNEY. The Keeper grabbed his arm. “The third piece belonged to this Mistmoor. By taking it, you gave this place something real.” The ground trembled. A sign appeared over the abandoned house: FIRST TRAVELLER’S HOUSE. Eldren looked at his map. Streets were darkening into permanent ink. “It’s becoming real.” Borstel groaned. “We finally find something useful and the entire nonexistent village files a complaint.” They pushed through the crowd. The arch grew fainter. Halfway across the square, Morksik heard a voice behind him. “You forgot me.” He turned. A small figure stood among the villagers. A young Morksik, perhaps eight years old. Borstel looked at the adult Morksik. “No. Absolutely not. One of you is sufficient.” The child held out his hand. “Give it back.” Morksik looked at the silver eye. “The third piece?” The child nodded. “It was mine before it was yours.”
