People want to forget, or deny, that humans can be so evil to one another. But it happened. And could happen again.
Notice the violent rhetoric, and the divisive political climate around us. Notice how angry and disaffected some people are, and how they are guided by demagogues who thrive on their followers' fear and anger, so they keep them that way, while they say that the problem is the Jews, the Muslims, the people of color, the LGBT community, and anybody who "is not like us."
