They turned from God, and lost their way.
They worshiped Baals and served false gods,
Ignoring the Lord, against His odds.
But in their distress, they cried in pain,
Seeking redemption, they called His name.
God raised up judges to lead the land,
To guide His people with His command.
But they strayed again, in a vicious loop,
And faced the consequences of their troop.
Then Gideon heard God's call anew,
To rise against the enemy's crew.
With faith and courage, he answered the plea,
To deliver Israel and set them free.
With three hundred men, a mighty feat,
Gideon's faith, an inspiring heat.
He defeated Midian, with God's might,
Restoring faith, and hope's light.
The lesson from Judges Chapter 10,
Is to heed God's call, time and again.
To turn from idols and follow His way,
With faith and courage, day by day.
