The common Trampelwipp is a biological curiosity among the higher nonsense creatures. It prefers to live in slightly swampy gardens of middle-class terraced housing projects and feeds exclusively on the vibrations of its own insecurity. Its characteristic feature is its swing-like belly, which performs a nervous bobbing when moved – hence its name.
Its physique is vaguely reminiscent of a cross between a dachshund, a desk lamp, and a forgotten toothbrush. Its legs are of different lengths, which, while not giving it a steady gait, does give it a certain rhythmic charisma. The Trampelwipp never strides; it wobbles in a minor key.
During mating season (every Thursday between 11:00 and 11:03 a.m.), the male sings a song that resonates through the garden fence and garden, vaguely reminiscent of an out-of-tune accordion case thrown down the stairs. Its natural enemy is the logical consequence.
