As a human, learning about the various weird and wonderful species of our planet is an easy exercise. You can watch documentaries, scroll through species' lists, even read a book or go to the zoo. AI can't do that and if it hasn't been trained on the right kind of data, then it will struggle to understand, what you want. In this image, I intended to represent a fossa, a carnivore related to cats that is native to Madagascar. But the AI apparently didn't know that. The result was cute, but not quite what I was aiming for.
