The inspiring song is "La cage aux oiseaux" of the french author-composer-singer: Pierre Perret, 1971.
The illustrated lyrics lines are
"...
Ouvrez, ouvrez la cage aux oiseaux
Regardez-les s'envoler, c'est beau
Les enfants, si vous voyez
Des p'tits oiseaux prisonniers
Ouvrez-leur la porte de la liberté
..."
"...
Open, open the birdcage
Watch them fly away, it's beautiful
Children, if you see
Small imprisoned birds
Open the door to freedom for them
..."
The song is inspired by a true story. Pierre Perret says he wrote the lyrics based on the news of an American prisoner having opened all the cages in a bird house upon his release from prison. Which actually cost this American 4 more years. The singer dreamed about it the next night, and got up to start writing the song. It will be finished the next day during the morning.
