Very sad and sorry about your loss! Reminds me of my hubby struggling with cancer at 59 years old (didn't make it either). :-( Although some are recovering more often I believe. Thinking of you... <3

Beautifully done, besides a lovely tribute to your friend Sam, it honors the people who care for all of us when we need them during such difficult times. This could be my dad (only he didn't have hair then - he lost his battle in 2009). I used to sit with him through the long treatments (drove him there and back). It felt like a gift for me to have that time with him. May you find comfort in memories.
