"I'm white! I'm with the whites!"
"Check my wash instruction symbols!"
"This stain remover bites!"

"Get these food stains offa me!"
"This hamper smells like cheese!"
"Hey! That water's really hot!"
"I'm cashmere - no iron please!"

"These brand-new jeans will color bleed!"
"Don't put me in the dryer!"
"Care label says that I won't shrink--
It's a dirty rotten liar!!"

Yes, my laundry speaks to me
In voices loud and clear.
(Everyone except the socks--
They just quietly disappear.)
