On a ladder tall, stood a cherry picker,
A skilled worker, a fruit-picker sticker,
With nimble hands and steady gaze,
He plucked cherries in a fruitful craze.
Up in the trees, with baskets to fill,
He climbed with skill, up the hill,
Selecting cherries, ripe and red,
With a keen eye and a careful tread.
He reached for the juiciest fruit,
With fingers swift, he didn't pollute,
Each cherry picked with utmost care,
In the warm summer's fragrant air.
He filled his baskets, one by one,
Under the sun, till the day was done,
With cherries plucked from limb to limb,
A bountiful harvest, a fruitful hymn.
The cherry picker, with his toil and sweat,
A harvest he'd never forget,
For in his labor, a sweet reward,
The taste of cherries, a treasure untoward.
So, let's raise a toast to the cherry picker,
A fruit-picker sticker, a tireless worker,
For in his skill and diligent hand,
He brings us cherries, a gift so grand.
