  • Prompt: In early 2000 I found office space at Baltimore Row near Pine Street in the city of Atlanta. In many ways, I thought I had returned to my Philly Childhood. You see, the offices at Baltimore Row were in a row of three-story brick homes. These homes were built by a Baltimore contractor in 1885. I grew up in a row home in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. My childhood home was not as large or as decked out as the Baltimore Row homes must have been. I read somewhere that the only row homes in Atlanta (for many years) were designed for professors working at Georgia Tech. By the way, that area was the suburbs of Atlanta in 1885.
