The Grafa are a cuddly people. Smaller than most races, they have large eyes and a short nose. But if you take a closer look, you might get scared. Their fingers resemble razor-sharp claws and their teeth are pointed and long. But the Grafa people are a very peaceful and diplomatic people. Many peoples have never seen the Grafas in their entire lives, just as many Grafas have never seen sunlight in their lives, for these people have always lived underground. Their ancestors, who came to Traano with the Speranza, were mostly mountain farmers and mechanics who saw their future and that of their family in the mountains, especially after a few years under the brutal slavery of the Uluus. Since it is very dirty and hard work to dig into the mountain, there weren't and there aren't many Grafas today, which could be the reason for their friendliness. Their main source of food is kiras, which are really just giant worms, and when something grows on the mountains, also the roots of some trees, although these people are very careful to live sustainably. They also keep this in mind when building their tunnels. If a Grafa decides to leave his mine, he should do so with his eyes closed, because the sun's rays radiating off other surfaces could blind him.
