Men running for the top honor. Vertical shadow drips Strain and pain. Intuitive perspective watercolor and white lines. Contemporary figures.
Watercolor painting depicts three figures running away from the viewer. The figures are black silhouettes, rendered with paint splatters, smudges and bleeds. The figure on the left is the largest and wears a top hat. The figure in the center is the smallest and wears a bowler hat. The figure on the right is the same size as the center figure and wears a bowler hat. All three figures have their hands on their hips, and are captured mid-stride. The background is a mix of white, muted colors, and watercolor runs. The colors are dark blue, purple, red, and orange. The watercolor runs from the top of the painting down to the figures, creating a sense of movement. The overall impression is one of energy and motion.
