They travelled a very long time in the ocean abyss and descended to the bottom of the ocean.
They found the hydrothermal vent.
"Come here!" Urtabara said.
They absorbed some quality of thermal energy, and Urtabara created the shining live ball in her hands.
"It will light our way in the ocean darkness!" she said with a smile, "Touch it."
"This is unusual," Alex said, "It changes my emotional state."
The live sphere sang something, as it seemed to Alex and had its own emotions. He felt something that couldn't be described, using the familiar five sensations of people.
"This is my trick," Urtabara said slyly, and the light of the sphere faded, the ball disappeared, and her arms lighted up, "Touch my palms directly. Axiothea's drink is a children's toy. It will be much more interesting."
"Are you... the Foremother of immortals?" Alex asked when he came around after the long and unusual contact with her.
"That's what they call me in my world," Urtabara responded, " I am the oldest among the first generation and their leader. I would be called the Empress of the Planet in your world. But we don't have the word "Emperor": this is a word from Ancient Rome.
