A very modest teenage girl lives in the village of vespertine. She has experienced many betrayals in her past so she does not trust anyone like she use to anymore. But as more people come along, she finds it hard not to trust and rely and her new friends. Soon, she finds herself being more and more open around her friends. Even though she still doesn't fully trust her friends, she discovers more about her friends when she uses her thieving skills to help her friends complete a important task.
