But at least this one has a happy ending. Another 6 failures compiled in this one, and I tacked in the final triumphant success at the end so all you Dreamers out there will know that dreams do, indeed, come true.
The secret in the end apparently was the AI wanted longer than 5 seconds to complete the action, as well as being a bit particular about a few other things. For one thing, despite being quite good at keeping track of the reflected image in the mirror, DDG seems to get confused when you're trying to manipulate an object that is ONLY visible in the mirror, or at least that's my guess what was going on there. That's why I told Tramma to turn around so I had a frontal view for some of the later attempts.
Now, the next challenge will be to maintain the continuity if I switch camera angles. I already know that's going to be an issue. More apparent in the longer shots I had earlier, but when I zoomed in for a closeup at the sideboard dresser, parts of her uniform now out of frame are going to be a pain to match up as I switch shots again. The removed items on the dresser top are going to be another problem. And I'll just about guarantee that if she moves away from this dresser, recreating the rest of the room will be a sodding pain. We'll see, now that I've solved the great necktie struggle.
