ArtistAn oak forest on a crisp, sunny winter's morning. All the trees are barren. Everything is covered in frost. An anthropomorphic winter moth in woolen clothes covered by a fur coat holds a thin thread of frost in its front claws and streches it from one tree to another.
In German, the winter moth is called Frostspanner, which can be translated as 'one who streches frost'. I think this one is doing a good job.
Fun fact: the adult form only emerges in winter and the females are wingless.
