Deuteronomy Chapter 12, a lesson to learn,
To worship God with reverence, with hearts that yearn.
To follow His commands, and walk His ways,
In all our worship, throughout our days.
God's people were called, to a special place,
To worship Him alone, with love and grace.
To tear down idols, and cast them away,
To worship God sincerely, without delay.
He commanded them, to offer their praise,
Only in the place, He would choose always.
Not on high mountains, or under green trees,
But in the place appointed, with hearts at ease.
For God is holy, and deserves our best,
Our worship and devotion, a sacred quest.
To honor Him always, in all we do,
To worship Him sincerely, with hearts so true.
He warned against idolatry, a dangerous snare,
To worship false gods, and not to beware.
To be diligent and faithful, in all we believe,
To worship the one true God, and never deceive.
Deuteronomy Chapter 12, a call so clear,
To worship God with reverence, without any fear.
To offer Him our hearts, our minds, our soul,
And honor Him always, as our highest goal.
