Before there were names for longing,
before clocks arose their circular reign,
two sparks leaned toward each other in the dark.
Not falling.
Not rising.
Simply grokking.
The universe, startled by their symmetry,
lit a thousand lanterns of hydrogen.
Galaxies wheeled like cathedral windows turning on invisible hinges.
Somewhere, a comet traced a silver signature across the cosmos,
witness to a promise older than gravity.
They met where light forgets its speed.
Foreheads almost touching,
breath braided with nebulae,
their pulse became an unforgettable majestic tide.
Between their chests burned a small, deliberate sun.
Not loud.
Not wild.
A steady brilliance that said: I have known you in other realms.
Around them drifted the quiet relics of existence.
An hourglass spilling constellations instead of sand.
A distant ferryman rowing through ink-blue eternity.
A solitary tree clinging to a cliff of dust,
roots gripping both birth and burial.
Love did not shield them from the great cycle of life.
It threaded them through it.
When one exhaled, stars were born.
When the other inhaled, old worlds folded into memory.
Their kiss was not an ending but an opening,
swinging on to the next universe.
And so they dance still.
Not trapped in immortality, but fluent in return.
Wherever matter trembles into meaning,
wherever light hesitates before becoming dawn,
you may glimpse them turning slowly,
two silhouettes written in fire,
and for one short moment,
you can feel INFINITY.
