More about Consecration Day - Leviticus Chapter 8 Poem

A solemn day, a holy rite,
In Leviticus 8, a shining light,
The priests anointed, with oil divine,
Consecrated, for service, a sacred sign.
The animals offered, as sin's atonement,
Blood sprinkled, with divine appointment,
Clothed in garments, pure and white,
In Leviticus 8, a majestic sight.
The altar consecrated, with sacrifice,
A symbol of worship, beyond all price,
A dedication to God's command,
In Leviticus 8, a sacred stand.
A seven-day period, of cleansing made,
A time of preparation, not delayed,
To serve the Lord, with hearts set apart,
In Leviticus 8, a brand new start.
So let us consecrate, our lives each day,
In Leviticus 8, we find the way,
To offer ourselves, in service true,
As priests to God, in all we do.
