More about Sacrifices Made - Leviticus Chapter 3 Poem

The peace offering, a sacrifice made,
In Leviticus 3, its rules conveyed,
An act of worship, with gratitude,
To God above, in reverent attitude.
A choice of animals, without defect,
Brought to the altar, with deep respect,
A pledge of peace, a covenant made,
To honor God, who would never fade.
The fat and entrails, offered up high,
A fragrant offering, reaching the sky,
Consumed by fire, a pleasing scent,
A sign of worship, genuine and meant.
With unleavened bread, the offering shared,
A fellowship meal, with hearts prepared,
A time of joy, a moment of grace,
In Leviticus 3, God's love we embrace.
So let us learn, from ancient days,
To offer our lives, in thankful praise,
With hearts of peace, and deeds of love,
In Leviticus 3, His blessings we'll prove.
